David Amelco joined NYC Leadership Academy in 2014. He serves as a Technology Specialist for the IT Department.
As the Technology Specialist, David is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the continuity of all technology within the academy. Since joining the academy, David has become an integral part of the IT team, with assisting staff members internally and remotely. He troubleshoots and resolves various hardware/software issues that arise in the day-to-day work flow for the staff. Some of his duties include setup and management of IT-related equipment, troubleshooting and implementation of systems, and assisting in complex escalated IT queries. David also has a background in software configuration, which include desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Citrix Receiver, and Adobe products. He looks to continue to expand his knowledge in the vast field of Information Technology.
David brings over five years of customer and technology support experience to the NYC Leadership Academy.
