Mark Moskowitz
Coach/Facilitator

During the course of a 32 year career in New York City public high schools as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and local instructional superintendent, Mark’s proudest achievement was the graduation rate of the Title I Career and Technical Education high school in Brooklyn he led. Mark joined the NYC Leadership Academy in 2006 as a coach/facilitator. In addition to coaching new and experienced principals in New York City individually and in critical friends groups, Mark has designed and facilitated sessions for educators across the United States and in Brazil. His most memorable experience was working with coaches in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from whom he learned that facilitative competency based coaching has a universal appeal that transcends culture, language, and geography.

Mark has a BA in history and an MA in English from Long Island University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from Hofstra University.
