Dr. Kathleen Drucker joined the NYC Leadership Academy in 2013 and currently serves as Associate Vice President, Research, Evaluation & Impact.

Dr. Drucker formerly served as an Assistant Research Director of the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center, where she managed an international literacy study involving 49 countries and over 300,000 students. Her dissertation, Using PIRLS 2006 to Measure Equity in Reading Achievement Internationally, received the 2009 Bruce Choppin Award for outstanding dissertation using IEA data. She has co-authored a number of research reports, including the PIRLS 2011 International Results in Reading and the PIRLS 2011 Encyclopedia Education Policy and Curriculum in Reading. Dr. Drucker has also worked as an independent evaluation consultant, with her clients including programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Boston College.

Dr. Drucker earned her doctorate in educational research, measurement, and evaluation from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. In addition, she is pursuing a Master's of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
