2016 was a year of growth and innovation for NYCLA. Anchored by our continued commitment and deepened focus on ensuring all students have equitable learning opportunities, our staff 1) updated the leadership standards that serve as the foundation for all of our programs; 2) developed newproducts and services for school and district leaders to guide work around equity; and 3) held our inaugural Leading for Equity convening, which brought together practitioners and thought leadersfrom across the country to engage in conversation about confronting inequity in the schools and districts they serve.

Our 2016 Accomplishments Report highlights our work developing and coaching school and district leaders across the country, and partnering with districts, states, and universities to build their capacity to sustain this work in their own contexts. In the report, you will see our work in action through profiles of leaders we have partnered with, and learn about the impact our programs have had on educational leaders.
