NYCLA is pleased to offer the second in a series of no-cost webinars for principal supervisors on March 10th, from 4 to 5 PM EST.

Building a Culture of Learning in Leadership” will feature guest experts Dr. Richard Elmore, Gregory R. Anrig Research Professor of Educational Leadership at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and Mr. Clay Hunter, Executive Director for Elementary Schools, Gwinnett County Public Schools. Dr. Nancy Gutierrez, NYCLA’s Vice President of District Leadership Support, will be the facilitator.

The webinar also serves as an entrée into NYCLA’s Foundations of Principal Supervision (FPS)program. FPS builds the capacity of district leaders who are responsible for both supervising and supporting principals – an essential role for the success of schools and their leaders.

The conversation will expose participants to the ways in which we connect research to the practices of principal supervisors and learn more about the themes covered in the FPS curriculum, specifically NYCLA’s Principal Supervisor Leadership Standard 3: Coach & Evaluate Principals.

This webinar will be offered free of charge to current district, state or charter leaders and system-level practitioners. Access the flyer here for more information. Space is limited so please register as soon as possible here if you are interested.
